Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies contracted through CMS to provide a Medicare benefits package as an alternative to Original Medicare. Many of them include prescription drug coverage and may even cover certain health care services that Original Medicare, Part A, and Part B, does not cover. These services may include, eye exams, hearing aids, dental care, or health care received while traveling outside the United States.
Prescription Drug Coverage
Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage. You can get Medicare Part D coverage through a stand-alone Medicare prescription drug plan or a Medicare Advantage prescription drug plan. Having the right plan is critical to your retirement.
Medicare Supplements
If you’re concerned about Medicare costs, a Medicare supplemental plan helps pay the “gap” between what Original Medicare (Medicare Parts A and B) pays and what you pay out of your own pocket.
Dental / Vision
You may already have Major Medical Insurance coverage, and may think it covers your eyes and teeth. However, most Major Medical plans don’t provide much vision or dental coverage. Adding Vision and Dental Insurance for you and your family may be necessary to ensure that you are fully protected.
